Description
The Vault is a compact form factor PC designed for firewall/router functionalities and other typically open-source applications. The V1610, part of the new “V” series of Vaults, features the Intel N6005 processor, an 16GB fixed DDR4 memory configuration, 32GB onboard eMMC*, and M.2 NVMe storage. It also includes M.2 slots for optional WiFi, LTE, and other modules. The V1610 is equipped with six Intel I226-V 2.5GbE RJ-45 Ethernet ports.
The Vault utilizes standard Intel components, including Intel network ports, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of operating systems (OS) and applications. The “V” series Vaults are fanless, containing no moving parts, which enhances their durability and makes them suitable for challenging environments. Its all-aluminum enclosure acts as a large heat sink, effectively maintaining CPU temperature.
